Examples include visual artist Vincent van Gogh, composer Robert Schumann, dancer Vaslav Nijinski, photographer Richard Avedon, playwright Eugene O’Neill, to name a few. Both, the artistic reflection of mental health & illness as well as work by artists with varying degrees of mental health & illness will be explored.
