- Monday, October 20, 2014 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
- Undergraduate Academic Center 382
In the last two years, a best-selling book entitled Bending Toward Justice by Gary May - as well as a controversial Supreme Court decision entitled Shelby v. Holder - have placed the protection of our constitutional rights with regard to voting at the forefront of the national debate over the rights of ethnic and racial minorities. May's book and the Shelby case will be the focal point of the discussion.
