- Wednesday, January 27, 2016 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Centennial Hall Room G01
Japanese Cinema Club presents Masahiro Shinoda's new wave classic Pale Flower. The film is a nihilistic adventure into the criminal Japanese underground and the disappearance of traditional Japanese society. Central themes include the corruption of youth and the dawning of modernity. This screening is the first of a series of Japanese new wave films being shown in an attempt to connect the Texas State audience with the art, history, and development of modern Japanese society.
