- Monday, September 12, 2016 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- LBJ Student Center PALM Office
The LBJSC Arts Program is seeking entries for their fall 2016 student exhibition. Entrants will submit artwork that creatively explores the Common Experience theme, "A Century of War: Dialogues on the U.S. Experience of War since 1917." These concepts can be considered together or separately, and can be interpreted through 2D or 3D work of all media. (The Fine Arts Advisory Board reserves the right to limit submissions due to weight and size.) Judges will consider technical execution, originality and interpretation, as well as clarity of theme. An Artist's Statement is required upon submission. Cash prizes will be awarded to Best in Show, Most Original, and Best Use of Theme. The deadline to enter is September 21, 2016. All questions and submissions can be directed to the LBJSC Student Curator, Chelsea Whittington.
