Graciela Tiscareno-Sato served as a U.S. Air Force officer and aviator for more than nine years. She was a senior instructor and crewmember aboard the KC-135 aerial refueling tanker. She supervised a multinational military team at NATO battle staff headquarters in Vicenza, Italy, conducting air support operations inside Bosnia-Herzegovina. She also served as a military liaison officer at the U.S. Embassy in Quito, Ecuador, leading a multi-service team (Air Force and Army) in counter-narcotic operations support. In 2014, Tiscareno-Sato was honored by the White House as a Woman Military Veteran Leader Champion of Change. She is an award-winning author, speaker, passionate storyteller, mother of three, publisher, marketer and advocate for special needs children.
