Description:

Ambassador Tibor P. Nagy, Jr. is the Vice-Provost for International Affairs at Texas Tech University. He is the former Ambassador to Ethiopia and to Guinea. Prior to entering academia, he had an extensive diplomatic career, serving in Africa in various capacities for 25 years. Born in Budapest, Hungary, Nagy came to the United States as a political refugee when he was young child.

Please note that space is extremely limited for each speaking engagement:

  • 9:30-10:50 a.m.: Presentation to HIST 1310 (TMH 104)
  • 2:00-3:20 p.m.: Presentation to HIST 1310 (CENT 150)
  • 3:30-5:00p.m.: Presentation to SOWK 4310 (LBJ 3-14.1)
