Interviews of three San Marcos veterans — Zoila "Sallie" Antonia Castillo Castro, Augustin Lucio, Jr., and Andres Ybarra — are included in the book, A Legacy Greater Than Words: Stories of U.S. Latinos and Latinas of the WWII Generation.
