Critical Conversation with The Dr. Angela Davis
- Friday, March 31, 2017 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Evans Auditorium
Dr. Angela Davis is a historic trailblazer and activist whose prophetic counterculture teachings about black liberation, inclusive feminism, LGBT equality, the war in Vietnam, and the prison industrial complex continue to inspire movements for freedom. Her impact on social justice was palpable as "Free Angela Davis" became a common slogan for those working for change. Dr. Davis's messages continue to inspire new generations, as she still actively speaks around the country about creating a more just society.
