Lunch and Learn: Therapeutic Forgiveness

An overview of the personal and interpersonal processes of forgiveness. “Psychologically, when people reported higher levels of forgiveness, they also tended to report better health habits and decreased depression, anxiety, and anger levels.” Forgiveness practices will be discussed relating to personal challenges and in a larger social context of violence.
Examples of forgiveness practices will be presented using contemporary literature, media and psychological research.
Food will be provided for those who RSVP at least one day prior to the event. Otherwise, walk-ins are welcome.
