"Adventurous and passionate" (The New Yorker), "a concert pianist of the highest order" (Chicago WTTW) pianist Inna Faliks has established herself as one of the most exciting and communicative artists of her generation.  After her acclaimed debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, she has performed on many of the world's great stages with numerous orchestras, in solo appearances, and with conductors, such as Leonard Slatkin and Keith Lockhart.  Faliks is currently Professor of Piano and Head of Piano at UCLA.

Open to the public.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://www.txstatepresents.com or at the door.  The ticket booth will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Fee-based parking is available at the Edward Gary Street Garage, across the street from the Performing Arts Center.  (Attention students enrolled in the Department Recital course: This is a GOLD event).
