Smearing the wildness of crumpled cubes
Graduate and undergraduate students interested in topology and its applications are welcome to attend. Primary topics are geometric topology (manifolds, cellular/simplicial/combinatorial complexes, knots, geometric group theory etc.), point-set topology, and algebraic topology. Other topics applying topology in an essential manner are also presented, drawn from such areas as functional analysis, large dataset analysis, dynamical systems, geometry, category theory, computation, physics (string and gauge theory), biology, chemistry, economics, finance, electrical engineering, and systems engineering.
