Saturday, October 14th:

  • Largest Indian Market at an outdoor powwow with 50 Native arts, crafts, and food booths
  • Two outstanding powwow drum groups
  • Tiny Tots dance - all children in regalia dance to the drum
  • Native Culture Tent with storytellers, flute players, White Shaman lectures, performances throughout the two days

Sunday, October 15th:

  • Aztec Danzantes Grand Entry - first-ever
  • Tiny Tots dance and win prizes
  • Indian Market closes at 5:00 PM
  • Native Culture Tent featuring special performance
  • $10,000 dance prizes awarded for first, second, third and fourth places

Experience the 2017 Sacred Springs Powwow that celebrates the Native American culture that has been part of the San Marcos area for thousands of years.
